Ultrasport F-Bike Work Review
Just when we thought we saw everything exercise machines can offer, Ultrasport F-Bike Work entered the scene.
A fitness bike belonging to the middle-low range of exercise bikes that I found to be a good buy.
Zooming in at Marcy Azure Series and Reebok ZR series, Ultrasport made sure they also had their own series of fitness bikes.

In this video, we see the most basic of the series Ultrasport F-bike Home, in action.
No new or advanced features can be expected with all the Ultrasport F-bike range.
Ensuring that there is an F-bike that will be ideal for almost every individual is what Ultrasport might have focused on.

Ultrasport F-Bike Work
It is part of the 3-Set Ultrasport F-Bike series together with the Ultrasport F-Bike Home Trainer and Ultrasport F-Bike Heavy.
These are not the most advanced exercise bikes on the market today. Not the most visually appealing either. All this I am aware of and still, I find the F-Bike Work a good buy for several reasons. The fact that you can work and exercise at the same time is healthy for several reasons.
1. Sitting down for long periods puts your health at risk.
2. Standing desks are not generally recommended.
3. You get the benefits of indoor cycling whilst being productive while you work.
I like how this stationary bike is both suitable for home and office use.
Let’s dig a little deeper to see it’s good points and a few things you might need to consider with this fitness bike.

Dissecting the Pros
✔ Ergonomic
Console shows time, distance, speed, and calories.
In a way, the F-Bike Work is ergonomic considering its design has a built-in desk for your tablet or laptop. I can imagine that this might be quite hard–working whilst cycling. But an ideal picture would be, you don’t have to be always on the go with the F-bike Work, you just pedal when you are not too busy or picking your brain for ideas. Sporadical pedalling will definitely shake off sleepiness or alleviate some stress.
✔ Budget-Friendly
I like how it budget-friendly it is. It is not as expensive as other exercise bikes and does what it’s supposed to. This has 8 resistance levels which you can manually increase or decrease via a crank. This feature falls in this budget-friendly pros section for the reason that it adds up to the value-for-money quality I look for.
✔ Compact
Obviously, this is quite the space-saver and therefore belongs to the folding exercise bike category. The folded size is quite similar to a folded ironing board.

✔ Warranty
I am very happy for finding out by myself that this item comes with a 2-year warranty as confirmed by their customer service team at [email protected]. Furthermore, you can purchase commonly requested spare parts outside the warranty in their online shop.
✔ Manual Operation
No mains is needed to power this exercise bike. You are the motor of the machine. This is something good beginners and elderly people would most likely appreciate. In my opinion, there is no better way to start the intensity of your workout than by using your own bodyweight.
In addition to this, this stationary bike would contribute to a greener earth.
✔ Easy to Assemble
People who already purchased this loved how this assembles easily.
All tools and batteries are included.
Looking at the Cons
Limited Users
With this kind of simplicity and straightforwardness, the fact that it will have limited capabilities cannot be helped. This might be a good choice for beginners and elderly people. However, when it comes to experienced to advanced users, it will limit their workout.
Stability
Another downside I am looking at would be the overall stability of this fitness bike. See, the rule of thumb is:
The heavier flywheel, the more stable an exercise bike is.
However, I do not see how a 1.5kg stables up a compact fitness bike with no handles such as this. And although the omission handles somehow forces your core muscles to balance you up, it comes at the expense of stability. This puts into question if it can hold up a worked-up 120kg athletic user.
Workout Variation
Simply having 8 resistance levels do not fully offer variation in a workout. Ask yourself if you are okay with a stagnant resistance level. If you know that this is okay, then it definitely is worth the money.

As for me, what I truly like about the Ultrasport F-Bike Work is that is quite affordable compared with other exercise bikes in its class quality range.
