It comes in 2 colours: grey and black, and it has a maximum weight capacity of 227kg (500 pounds). That means it’s suitable even for those who want to lose weight. The Concept2 Model D Indoor Rower is considered commercial grade because of its excellent performance that’s been proven by a lot of their purchases. This product is close to getting a 5-star rating on Amazon UK with a landslide of positive reviews.
✔ Advanced performance monitor
One of the features that this rowing machine boasts is its Performance Monitor 5 (PM5). This advanced backlit display doesn’t only allow you to track all the usual fitness-related data; you can also connect it to your smartphone through the Concept2 app called Ergdata. This app lets you store all your workouts, and it can also provide additional feedback regarding your training. Aside from this, the PM5 supports ANT+ and is Bluetooth-enabled that enables wireless heart monitoring with compatible chest belts. The PM5 can also automatically store your data in its internal memory, or you could insert a USB flash drive.

The Concept2 Model D Indoor Rower uses air resistance to make your workout more intense. The faster you spin the wheel, the more resistance you will generate. That means the level of resistance you will get depends on how hard you row on the machine. Rowing with air resistance can simulate the feeling of rowing on water as the resistance occurs naturally and is not controlled by the machine. The adjustable damper allows you to find your most comfortable rowing movement. The ten levels of damper settings don’t affect the resistance, but they change the feel of the stroke to suit your fitness level. Although it works with air resistance, the Concept2 Model D Indoor Rower has a soft noise that your neighbours won’t hear. I can’t say it’s completely silent because the fan surely does make a sound, but it’s not as bothering as you expect it to be.

Size doesn’t matter with this indoor rower as it’s made to be ideal for everyone. It has adjustable footrests that can accommodate a wide range of shoe sizes and ergonomic handles that can bend up to 10 degrees. In this way, you can row with a natural arm and hand position. This indoor rower has a seat height of 35.5 and And as mentioned, it has a 227kg maximum user weight which I rarely see in fitness machines as most of them can only hold up to 150kg.
