Reebok ZR8 Treadmill Review
Reebok has already been successful prior to 2005. But as a subsidiary of Adidas, it has now transcended into an all-around fitness company. We have our eyes on yet again, one of their treadmills. How does the Reebok ZR8 treadmill compare with other treadmills? Who is it best for? More importantly, is it worth the price?

Reebok ZR8: Key Features
The Programmes
I was confused at first since the written details said that Reebok ZR8 has 24 workout programs whilst the trailer showed a total of 31. To be honest this confused me–a lot. This needed to be cleared. So with a little digging, I added them up.
I was able to find out that:
24 Preset Workout Programmes
It is safe to say that these are programmes specifically designed by Reebok’s fitness trainers. I was not able to find out what they are, and this is how it is supposed to be. After all, you don’t lay all your cards on the table, right? You think about competitors who might take credits for your ideas.
3 Target Programmes
I assume that these are the programmes are the ones we are familiar with, the built-in programmes that cater to specific types of exercises like weight loss, cardio, and sports rehab. I have yet to confirm this, so feel free let me know in the comments section below in case you find this out.
3 User Defined Programmes
These are what I like to call “free slots”. These are where you make your own programme. Something those gym instructors or fitness trainers might find quite handy. This gives you the capability to personalise your workout.
1 Body Fat Programme
I tried to find out what this is, again, to no avail. Perhaps this could either be something unique with Reebok fitness programmes, or just a fancy re-labelling of BMI.
So what if Reebok ZR8 has 31 programmes?
Look:
Reebok is a mid-high class range of treadmill. The highest classes like Branx Fitness Treadmill has 19 in total, and JTX Sprint-7 has 24 in total.
This means that the mid-high ranged Reebok ZR8 has more programmes in total (31) and can not only hold it’s own against high-end treadmills but also surpass them. But then again, a coin always has two sides…
A. Beginners and elderly might find 31 programmes a bit intimidating or confusing.
or
B. On the other hand, this hefty amount of workout programmes is something intermediate and advanced users will definitely love. They already have experience, so in a way, they are looking for more challenges to overcome.
The Incline and Soft Drop
In addition to the 31 workout programmes, what I like about the ZR8 treadmill is the electronic incline. With a manual incline, you would need to step down and adjust the incline manually. Whereas with an electronic incline, you don’t need to step down and worry about cooling down for a bit with the chance of being interrupted while you workout.
The soft drop mechanism is not something I am amazed at, I feel like this evens out one of the cons this treadmill has: it is not a space saver. It does not fold flat, and I would definitely not store it lying down!
Reebok ZR8: Design, Technology, and Others
Design
I like black. Period. This, of course, gives me a bias opinion with regards to the design and matte black colour choice of Reebok ZR8. I like how the yellow trimmings make it seem like it glows in the dark. Overall, you get a sleek, professional, and an “I mean business” looking treadmill.

I’m pretty sure that I don’t need to be a genius to figure out why ZR8’s shock absorbers are shaped this way.
Theoretically, imagine stepping on a slinky, notice how it stretches out when pressure is applied in the middle.
These might be an indication that Reebok ZR8 really does reduce stress on your joints (like it claims) as you run. Instead of the all the force pushing back up to you, some of it is being dispersed vertically.

Warranty is 2 years for parts and labour, 10 years on motor. Transport wheels, music compatibility and quietness during operation are all self-explanatory.

It only takes a couple of minutes to assemble the Confidence GTR Power Pro Motorised Treadmill, it’s a very compact treadmill so it won’t occupy too much space inside your house. Plus, it’s foldable making it easy to store when it’s not in use. This treadmill has a 1.5 HP motor which will enable you to start at a speed of 0.6mph and build up your pace until you achieve to reach a maximum of 7.5mph. With its emergency stop clip, just attach it to your clothing and it will automatically stop once you fall off the machine.
Additionally, it has a clear LED display that shows speed, distance, time, calories, and heart rate. In Reebok GT40S Treadmills, they have carefully engineered the machine to meet today’s standards of sports performance. There are great features packed into this treadmill. It has 15 adjustable incline settings with a maximum elevation of 12% which can really put you through a tough workout.
The York Aspire Treadmill has a number of user programs, one pre-set and six manuals giving you the option to choose how you workout each time. The maximum speed of this treadmill is 16kph (almost 10 mph) so it’s great for new runners as well as for marathoners or athletes.

Conclusion
Overall, the Reebok ZR8 Treadmill is definitely one of those mid-high class treadmills that offer the most value for money. Its technical aspect has a huge advantage compared to other treadmills. Reebok designed ZR8 in a way that everyone will understand what they are getting. Striking visual, good warranty, and an online support for specifically for ZR8?
One could only ask for more.
